The Massachusetts Water Forum is free, but registration is mandatory since space is limited. This year's event will follow the UN's 2021 theme of Valuing Water by showcasing a number of innovative ways the Commonwealth can become more water-friendly as it moves towards very challenging times on the climate front. “Valuing Water” is an opportunity to think about how to best guarantee adequate clean water to people across all Massachusetts communities for their many needs.

The Youth Summit will utilize the "Shark Tank" model to bring creative water-friendly ideas to the fore. Students from Massachusetts and elsewhere will have the opportunity to pitch their forward-thinking approaches about ways to make their schools more water-friendly, however preference will be given for those from Massachusetts. The winner(s) will have an opportunity to present their ideas to a legislative committee at another date. If you are interested in making a pitch, or know someone who does, please contact us!

CANCELLED: The 8th Annual Massachusetts Water Forum and Youth Summit will be co-sponsored by Senator Anne Gobi and Representative Smitty Pignatelli in honor of the United Nation's World Water Day. This year's event carries through on the UN's theme of "Water & Climate Change" by exploring water resilience in a time of climate uncertainty.

Foundation for a Green Future is a multicultural 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to our neighborhoods and communities across our city and across the globe to build an environmentally-friendly world by bringing nature into our urban spaces and our lives.

Throughout the year, the Foundation runs a series of educational programs focused on greening our urban spaces through the arts, film, forums/speakers, festivals, gardening, and green infrastructure. We promote sustainable business practices, recycling, composting, and water solutions. Foundation for a Green Future works with a wide scope of local, national and international schools, community centers, senior groups and neighborhood organizations to educate young and old about the many dimensions of being green.
