Description

"Accelerating Change"

The Foundation for a Green Future invites you to the 11th Annual Massachusetts Water YOUTH SUMMIT at the Massachusetts State House.

Each year, the Massachusetts Water Forum & Youth Summit unites high school students with legislators, water specialists, nonprofits, entrepreneurs, landscape architects, designers, planners -- and other students! -- to an active discussion about issues pertaining to our water resources, especially as related to climate action and creating resilient communities.

This year our program is aligned with the UN's World Water Day theme - "Accelerating Change."  The theme is succinctly described by World Water Day.org. (Click here).

The Youth Summit will encourage all participants to pose questions, add their insights, and think about new policy, design, systems and resource uses. At the end of the Summit, these ideas will be shared with legislators and displayed in the Great Hall at the State House.

This event is free, but registration is mandatory since space is limited. Lunch will be provided.

Please be sure to sign up on our Eventbrite page!
